2015 TICKETS SERVICES-MOTEK CULTURAL INITIATIVE (MCI)

Thank you for purchasing tickets and merchandise from TICKETS SERVICES-MOTEK CULTURAL INITIATIVE (MCI) , our goal is to make your purchasing experience easy, efficient and equitable, so we can get you on your way to live events as quickly as possible. The following purchase policies are designed to ensure your satisfaction and understanding of the purchase process on www.motek.ca or any of our services constitutes. If you have any questions about the information below, please contact us. This Purchase Policy is subject to, and incorporates by this reference the Terms of Use. Each ticket that you purchase is a revocable license to attend a particular event, and is subject to these terms.

Who You Are Buying From: MCI. sells tickets on behalf of MCI, promoters, artists and venues. MCI does not set the ticket prices or determine seating locations, except under limited circumstances acts as the agent to those who are promoting or otherwise providing the events for which you purchase tickets.

Please note the following Terms Of Use:

All sales are final. No request for cancellations, changes or refunds is accepted.

  1. If your tickets are to be mailed, you should receive them within a reasonable amount of time, generally 7 to 10 days. If you do not, please contact MCI, at info@motek.ca - no later than by 5pm on the day of for a weekday performance or 4pm on a Saturday for a Saturday or Sunday performance to ensure proper MCI, attention.
  2. If your tickets are to be "held at will call", they will be at the venue box office at the time of performance. The box office is usually open no later than 60 minutes before curtain time. It would be helpful if you can arrive early to allow for parking and to avoid the last minute rush.
  3. You must have the credit card you used for the purchase with you for identification. If someone else is picking up the tickets, either that same credit card or a photocopy of it with an authorization note from you must be presented. It would also be helpful to have with you a copy of your order confirmation and the confirmation number.
  4. In the event that a performance is either cancelled or postponed, MCI will make every effort to contact every patron via e-mail, time permitting.
  5. While MCI regrets the inconvenience caused by these circumstances MCI can not be held responsible for any cost or damage such postponement or cancellation may incur. Similarly, the conduct of events and performances for tickets purchased is the sole responsibility of the events' organizers and venue operators MCI cannot be held responsible or liable for injuries, loss or damages incurred by patrons while attending these events.
  6. All patrons purchasing from MCI must do so in the light of the above limitations.
  7. Refunds on tickets purchased are made for a cancelled or postponed event only. In all instances when a ticket is refunded, only the cost of the ticket is refunded. All service fees paid are not refundable.
  8. Tickets obtained from unauthorized sources may be lost, stolen or counterfeit, and if so are void.

Order Confirmation If you do not receive a confirmation number in the form of a confirmation page or email after submitting payment information, or if you experience an error message or service interruption after submitting payment information, it is your responsibility to confirm with MCI whether or not your order has been placed. Only you may be aware of any problems that may occur during the purchase process. MCI will not be responsible for losses monetary or otherwise if you assume that an order was not placed because you failed to receive confirmation.

Convenience Charges and Order Processing Fees Tickets purchased are typically subject to per-ticket convenience charges and a non-refundable per order processing fee. In many cases, delivery prices will also be owed.

Payment Methods MCI accepts Visa and MasterCard payments to accommodate your needs. We do not accept American Express.

Ticket Transfer Once a recipient accepts a ticket transfer, a new barcode is issued and the sender's tickets are voided. If a ticket has been transferred multiple times, only the ticket from the last transfer will be valid for event entry - all previous ticket barcodes will be voided. The sender can modify or cancel a ticket transfer before the recipient accepts the transfer - not after.

Note: We may cancel transferred tickets if they were obtained fraudulently or otherwise in violation of our policies. If an event is canceled or rescheduled, only the original purchaser will be eligible for a refund.   Recipients can choose only MCI or paperless delivery if the event offers it. All merchandise, VIP package elements, MOTEK FANCLUB memberships, and ticket insurance originally purchased or included with the ticket are not transferable. Ticket insurance will not apply to transfer tickets.

Cancelled and Postponed Events Occasionally, concerts are cancelled or postponed. Should this occur, we will attempt to contact you to inform you of refund or exchange procedures for that concert. For exact instructions on any cancelled or postponed concert, please check the concert information online or contact us.

Pricing and Other Errors If the amount you pay for a ticket is incorrect regardless of whether it is because of an error in a price posted on this website or otherwise communicated to you, or you are able to order a ticket before its scheduled on-sale or presale date or you are able to order a ticket that was not supposed to have been released for sale, then: MCI will have the right to cancel that ticket or the order for that ticket and refund to you the amount that you paid. This will apply regardless of whether it is due to human error or a transactional malfunction of this website or other MCI operated system.

Multiple Browser Windows When ordering tickets online with MCI , please ensure you are looking for tickets and placing an order using only one browser window. Looking up tickets using multiple browser windows could result in losing your tickets or timer expiration.

Limitation of Liability Despite spectator shielding, injury can occur. Stay alert at all times before, during and after performance. You voluntarily assume all risks and danger incidental to the event for which a ticket is issued, whether before, during or after the event, and you waive any claims for personal injury or death against MCI management, facility, league, artist, participants, and all of their respective parents, affiliated entities, agents, officers, directors, owners and employees on behalf of yourself and any accompanying minor.

Recording, Transmission and Exhibition You agree not to record or transmit, or aid in recording or transmitting, any description, account, picture, or reproduction of the event. You agree that the event for which you purchase tickets is a public event, that your appearance and actions inside and outside the venue where the event occurs are public in nature, and that you have no expectation of privacy with regard to your actions or conduct at the event. You grant permission to MCI and the Event Providers to utilize your name, image, likeness, acts, poses, plays, appearance, movements, and statements in any live or recorded audio, video, or photographic display or other transmission, exhibition, publication or reproduction made of, or at, the event regardless of whether before, during or after performance for any purpose, in any manner, in any medium or context now known or hereafter developed, without further authorization from, or compensation to, you or anyone acting on your behalf.

You Are Subject to Search You and your belongings may be searched on entry to the event. You consent to such searches and waive any related claims that may arise. If you elect not to consent to such searches, you may be denied entry to the event without refund or other compensation. Under certain facility rules, certain items may not be brought into the premises, including without limitation, alcohol, drugs, controlled substances, cameras, recording devices, laser pointers, strobe lights, irritants e.g., artificial noisemakers, bundles and containers.

Unlawful Resale of Tickets; Commercial Purposes Unlawful resale of tickets or attempted resale, counterfeit or copy of tickets is ground for seizure and cancellation without compensation. In addition, MCI reserves the right to restrict or deny ticket purchasing privileges to anyone that MCI determines to be, or has been, in violation of this policy. Because MCI does not guarantee the authenticity of tickets purchased from any non-authorized third party reseller MCI recommends that you purchase tickets directly through MCI to ensure ticket authenticity.
