Motek Cultural Initiative (MOTEK) is an innovative non-profit charitable organization established to showcase contemporary Israeli music to diverse audiences. MOTEK began with a vision and a dream for change! By showcasing and introducing talented Israeli artists to the mainstream, we are fostering a new generation’s appreciation for Israel across multicultural communities. This awareness not only educates and promotes unity, but also enables Jews and Israelis to get back in touch with their roots. MOTEK improves perceptions of Israel using music as a tool to transcend the barriers of language, promoting positive attitudes and unity.

Last night was simply amazing!! We danced it like our pre-weddding rehersal! Everyone was dancing around us. I grew up and worked with the Greens, and, to me, Cary and Ronda are family. I'm sure you are proud and honoured of your parnership! I don't speak hebrew, my Barry does - but it didn't matter. We all spoke Idan last night. 'Kickass party' mazel tov! I'm so happy I got tickets!

It’s important that people learn more about [Israeli] culture and other aspects of our reality. What Ravid [Dahan] is doing here is a blessing.
Ravid founded MCI upon the very strong belief that music and art should be shared by all. She is staunchly committed to bringing the best of Israeli culture into the mainstream with the hopes of changing perceptions, and her passion for the cause is limitless. That she has been able to achieve so much in such a short time is a testament to her ability and dedication. Long live the Initiative.
It was a wonderful evening. I had to stand in the aisles and dance.
Just wanted to thank you again for an amazing concert and insane after party!
This was one great evening! Thank you for letting us be a part of it!
MOTEK would not be possible without the support of the community. Our heartfelt gratitude goes to the following organizations. Their backing has ensured our continued growth and success, and has allowed us to promote Israel and its vibrant culture. Their steadfast commitment to our beloved community is more than evident, with their efforts to unite our local Jewish and Israeli communities being most commendable. While MOTEK’s focus on contemporary Israeli music will be at its heart, it’s people like you that make our organization’s heart beat! Thank you for helping us let the sounds of Israel inspire the world!
